How do we bring Malta’s largest real estate icon into an educational and immersive digital sales platform?

A few months back, we were approached by Vanessa Coleiro Brand Consultant to build an interactive experience-first digital sales platform for Mercury Towers by Zaha Hadid Architects. Our goal was to build an educational and immersive digital sales tool for Malta’s newest icon…Here’s our answer

THE challenge

Malta's largest real estate icon

Malta's largest real estate icon

Our main goal as a digital agency is to help businesses grow through strategy and tech. In the case of Mercury Towers by Zaha Hadid architects, their main goal was to sell luxury residential apartments directly. We identified multiple touch points potential clients might have with the brand, these being online and in person. A sales room was created onsite in order for potential buyers to gain a better understanding about the development.

We knew we had to imagine a visitor journey which was inviting, self explanatory, and powerful at the same time so the potential buyers of Mercury Towers, could experience something emotionally strong and engaging in a limited amount of time. Quickly, the idea of building an interactive sales room where agents and potential buyers themselves could interact with and learn more about the project popped up as being the perfect starting point.

Immersive content

Setup and design

We sourced all the hardware needed in order to create an interactive table top that would be connected to another larger display in order to immerse users into the experience. The task here was educating users on the development as a whole whilst also providing them a tool that would let them filter through and select available apartments.

Mobile design

Selecting and finding aparments

Users were able to select which apartments they were interested in that were mapped up to a 3D render of the property which allowed them to see exactly where the property is located on the development.

Interactive floor plans and developments

Once a property is selected users would then be able to use the touchscreen display to either zoom in and rotate the floorplans and apartment layouts whilst also selecting images from the gallery that would be show on the larger display.

Videos and Content

We synced up both displays so that the touch screen tabletop acts as a navigator whilst the larger display would be used as a tool to further explain whatever was on screen, allowing users to get a better idea about the project as a whole.
